Join us as we celebrate the launch of George the Mouse in a Log Pile House- a heartwarming new children’s book that invites readers of all ages to slow down, follow their curiosity, and discover the magic of kindness, community, and finding where you truly belong.

The evening will begin with a special ribbon cutting at 5:00 pm, followed by book signings, an engaging author talk, and opportunities to take photos in the very chair that inspired George’s story. Guests will also enjoy light desserts and refreshments inspired by George’s favorite treats.

F + F Kids’ Club | Every Wednesday in June

Join us this June for F + F Kids’ Club, a fun and creative weekly series designed especially for kids! Each Wednesday, we’ll offer hands-on, engaging classes that spark creativity, curiosity, and connection- because we believe the best learning happens when kids are having fun.

Choose from three one-hour sessions each week:
9:30-10:30am | 10:30-11:30am | 11:30am-12:30pm

We’ll gather on the first Thursday of each month (June, July, and August) from 6:00–7:00 PM at Smith Park in Wahoo. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and settle in for an evening of conversation and community.

Our summer picks will feature easy-to-read beach reads with a low to moderate level of spice-perfect for laid-back summer days. Books will be available for pickup at Found & Flora.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll move the gathering indoors to Found & Flora.

Join us for our F + F Plant Propagation Swap- a laid-back morning all about sharing, trading, and growing your plant collection. This swap is all about bringing cuttings or “plant babies” to exchange with others and take home something new to grow.

Here’s How it Works:

• Bring your healthy plant cuttings or propagations (up to 5) by Thursday, July 9th

• If your cutting has a special story of where it originated from, include a note with its origin!

• When you drop off your clippings, you’ll receive one ticket per propagation (one-for-one, up to five) to trade on swap day, Saturday July 11th.

• Cuttings should be fresh, pest-free, and ready to propagate

• Bring your ticket(s) on Saturday, July 11th between 9:00 AM–12:00 PM to pick out your new plant babies.

• It’s first come, first served, so come early for the best selection!

Whether you’re a seasoned plant parent or just starting your collection, this is a fun, sustainable way to grow your greenery and connect with fellow plant lovers- because the best plants are the ones with a story.

• Bring your gently used adult fiction reads (up to 5) by Thursday, July 16th

• When you drop off your books, you will receive one ticket for every book you drop off (One for one, up to five) to indicate how many new-to-you books you can pick up on Saturday.

• Books must be new or gently used with no torn pages

• Bring your ticket on Saturday, July 18th between 9am and 12pm to pick out your new read(s). First come, first served, so come early for the best selection!

It’s free, fun, and full of plot twists (the good kind).

*Books pictured are examples of adult fiction titles and may not be available at the swap. If one catches your eye, you might just find it tucked on our shelves for purchase.
